About No Kill Colorado
No Kill Colorado is a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that every healthy and treatable animal in our state has the chance to live. We work with shelters, rescues, communities, and lawmakers to end unnecessary euthanasia and build a true no kill Colorado.

Every year, thousands of pets enter Colorado shelters. Many are healthy, treatable, and full of life—yet some never make it out. Overcrowding, outdated policies, and limited resources still put innocent animals at risk.
You shouldn’t have to wonder if a shelter means life or death.
Our mission is simple: to make Colorado a no kill state where every healthy and treatable pet has a future.

No Kill Colorado was founded to change that. From delivering 20,000 pounds of supplies to disaster-struck communities, to saving individual pets like Watson from unnecessary euthanasia, our story is built on one belief: every life matters.
