Kitten season means kittens AND MAMAS!
We konw kitten season is a very busy time of year.. Many intact cats will bring Colordo a surge of kittens. Many programs address this and work hard to save them all.
But sometimes its a little harder for the ones left behind, and the ones left behind are more often the mom’s.
NO MAMA LEFT BEHIND CAMPAIGN LAUNCHING MARCH 1st
For every mama cat or dog adopted:
$38 will be donated towards the rescue completing each adoption
$12 will go towards a spay/neuter assistance fund for pet parents in need.
Several Southern Colorado rescues will be invited to participate.
Let's shift the focus from kittens & puppies to the often overlooked mamas while supporting Southern Colorado rescue & spay/neuter efforts
Mama adoptions from March 1st through June 1st
Mommas home will be tallied
Mama Cat/Mama Dog adoption metrics from participating organizations due by June 7th.
Funds to be distributed to participants & the Spay/Neuter Assistance Fund in June.
